Secret Sydney, Yurulbin Park in Birchgrove

In what would have to be one of Sydney’s more exclusive suburbs and streets.

It has also one of the cleanest views of Sydney Harbour Bridge I’ve seen yet.

At the very end of the 2km road in Sydney’s Inner West lies Yurulbin Park on Louisa Rd
Birchgrove.

And it’s just a great spot to see the city skyline from a pretty unique angle.

It is also him to one of the skinniest streets I’ve been on yet in my travels so if you can I’d recommend getting there via walking.

I shot these pictures at midday on a Tuesday and I’d hate to see what the traffic in or out would look like on weekends or peak hours.

There is a ferry down below so it might be worth investigating via public transport. Or pack your walking shoes and park in the backstreets of Balmain and go from there.

The view over the Sydney harbour is a beautiful one and you also get to see the top of Anzac Bridge. It’s just a gem of a spot all round and definitely put it on the list of things to do in Sydney.

Just be prepared for some effort to get there is all I can recommend. But definitely worth it as well.

Til next time!

Chris
