After recently coming across this awesome street art in Marrickville, I thought I’d continue the search for more great street art in the streets of Sydney.
After a bit of researching I hit the streets of Sydney’s Surry Hills to check out the amazing artwork of former Sydney Swans player, the great Adam Goodes created by Hamish McBride, Laura Paige, Megan Hales, Jacqueline Butterworth and Kailin Hegel from advertising agency and art studio Apparition Media.

Deep in the heart of Surry Hills and only a short walk from Central station, it’s located on the corner of Crown and Foveaux Street. On this particular morning it was bathed in morning sunshine and it stands as one of the more striking murals you will ever see.
For those that are new to Sydney, Adam Goodes played 372 games for the Sydney Swans in the AFL. As much as he is known for his on field heroics, he is just as well known for his outstanding work in the Aboriginal community.
A man definitely worthy of his own mural and to make it even better, it’s also only a few kilometres away from the Sydney Swans home ground the SCG.
It’s well worth the pilgrimage for any AFL supporters or for anyone who loves a good mural.

Congratulations to everyone involved, it’s definitely a must see in Sydneytown.
Til next time!
Chris
