Where to find the best Jacaranda trees in Sydney’s South

From mid October to the end of November, the beautiful purple of the Jacaranda trees are in full bloom in Sydney.
I’ve spent the last the few weeks exploring southern Sydney to find the best places to see the Jacaranda trees.
So if you’re trying to find where in Sydney are the jacaranda trees, this list here will help you explore the great city of Sydney, especially south of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Coledale and it’s perfectly rectangular rock pool

Just north of the more well known Austinmer beach, lies the perfect rectangular shaped rock pool in Coledale, Wollongong.
Built in 1915 and one of the more stunning rock pools in NSW, it’s a great spot for a swim or a picture or two.

Maroubra’s own Mahon Pool and how it got its name

Just 10 kilometres South East from the Sydney CBD, lies the unique design of Maroubra’s Mahon Pool. One of many rock pools in the area, but with it’s particular cool shape it’s definitely worth checking out.
