Secret Garden Festival

It’s been 12 months this week since the last of the super cool and a little crazy Secret Garden Festival was on. I was lucky enough to be able to shoot the last 3 of those years so I have put together my little tribute to the madness. Held on the outskirts of Camden, NSW on a massive farm it was fun to shoot and at times a little confronting but good times none the less.

Matilda’s too good at Campbelltown

A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to shoot our Australian Women’s Football team The Matilda’s, as they took on Thailand in a Olympic Qualifier in Campbelltown.
It was my first time shooting the Women’s Australian team so I was genuinely looking forward it and hoping to get some cool pictures.
Football at times can be pretty hard to shoot as depending on how the game goes, you can get stuck down the wrong end.
Not this time as the Aussie girls dominated possession and I was lucky to to get my fair share of action.
Although I was getting a little antsy as it was still 0-0 closing into half time, but with some great work by the girls they put on two goals back to back which calmed the nerves and gave me a couple of cool celebration shots to file at halftime.
It’s always a better feeling when you have some good jubilation to file back to the office that’s for sure!

With the Aussie girls winning 6-0 it was a great night all round and I’m glad I was there!

Sydney Kings finish on top!!!

With the 19/20 NBL season wrapping up over the weekend I thought I’d be a good chance to share my best pictures from my last game of the regular season.
The Sydney Kings took on the Illawarra Hawks at home and showed that they are ready for the finals.
It was a fun game to shoot and it had a party atmosphere due to the Kings already locked in for the Minor Premiership. With some cool dunks and a loud home crowd, it was basketball at its best.
