Like many of the rock pools in the Wollongong region, Wombarra pool is cut into the dark coloured rock of the coastline. And with a particular shape it’s a great looking pool to photograph or to dive in for a few laps.

Just north of the more well known Austinmer beach, lies the perfect rectangular shaped rock pool in Coledale, Wollongong.
Built in 1915 and one of the more stunning rock pools in NSW, it’s a great spot for a swim or a picture or two.
Bulli and it’s Awesome Rock Pool
The beautiful Bulli Rock Pool in the heart of Wollongong on Farrell Rd, Bulli. Around 1 and half’s hours drive from the Sydney CBD.
With spectacular views of the Wollongong headland, Bulli and it’s awesome rock pool is well worth a visit and a swim.
